kunstderfuge.com & learn to play with MIDIs!

November 19, 2007

We are simply proud to let you know that kunstderfuge.com is the MAIN and the MOST SELECTIVE resource of classical music in MIDI files on the net. We remind you that MIDI files are very useful for educational and entertaining purposes such as:
- learning to compose
- learning how to play the piano
- analyzing compositions
- making your own ringtones
- making your own sheet music

Please note that with a normal subscription we offer you:
1) a free tool to convert MIDI files into ringtones. This will allow you to have plenty (thousands) of files ready for use with your cell phone.
2) a free tool to covert MIDI files into SHEET MUSIC!!!
3) many other benefits that you can see at
http://kunstderfuge.com/-/subscription.htm.

Furthemore with our “rolls” (http://kunstderfuge.com/piano-rolls.htm) you can listen to how great pianists of the past played: just put your .mid files on your keyboard, disklavier or (good) sound card.

Personally I also believe that a good pianist should record his performances on MIDI support. For example MIDI taught me, through the analyzyng of my own touch, the exact way to approach the board with my fingers. Infact, with a very simple SEQUENCER (software for reading MIDI files) you can see all the notes and their values, their dynamics and many other elements. Software for playing MIDI files can be downloaded for free via internet (it’s lightweight software, usually made available for free).

At http://kunstderfuge.com/media.htm see a list of the software types we use.

Also, don’t forget that MIDI files are very very light: our entire collection of over 16,000 files is only 80 mbytes (while an 8 minute CD track is the same!!!)
